1 Billion Followers Summit - YouTube
2026
YouTube needed a dedicated and memorable presence at the three-day 1 Billion Followers Summit. Since the summit is essentially a gathering for the world’s top digital innovators and creators, the space needed to be a mix of a learning hub, a high tech playground, and a place to just grab a coffee and catch up. The challenge was to build something that could handle huge crowds while keeping that exclusive, creator first vibe.

We designed the space to be as interactive as possible, starting right at the entrance with a giant YouTube Play Button and a Polaroid wall where guests could share their day one stories. Inside, the layout flowed from a content-led main stage into a series of zones that celebrated the platform's culture. We built an upside-down creator studio filled with iconic elements from viral videos for a unique photo op, and a high-tech AI dancing station where creators could play around with the ‘Make Me Move’ Shorts feature. We also included a custom digital football game for winning Play Button plushies which quickly became the busiest spot in the room. We also hosted a dedicated beauty room powered by L’Oréal and to keep everyone fueled, we set up a branded F&B area along with a fully stocked Food Wall of snacks.

The space became the summit’s most popular destination, managing over 3,450 attendees over the weekend, including global icons like MrBeast. The AI dance activation proved to be a major talking point, with creators genuinely impressed by the new tech features, while the gaming zone also maintained its thrill with the plushies being so popular that we had to carefully stagger the giveaways to keep up with the demand. By the end of the weekend, we’d managed to create a space that didn't just look great on social media but actually functioned perfectly for the community, proving that even with a compressed timeline, you can still deliver a flawless experience.
