YouTube’s Creator360 program was developed to help new creators gain traction on the platform by learning first-hand from top YouTubers. Following successful virtual events in the UK, Europe and Africa, YouTube decided to launch the first non-English event series in the Middle East.

The first touchpoint of the campaign was a 2-day virtual event held on Hopin in Arabic featuring a variety of creators from different verticals speaking about their experiences growing their channels on the platform. The event was attended by a record 4,000+ people and was well-received by Arabic-speakers from across the region.

Unlike previous C360 events, we had the opportunity to bring creators together for an IRL event. We secured the newly opened W Hotel Mina Seyahi and were the first brand to host an event in the space. With a bohemian festival vibe, we kept guests entertained with a live performance by Azza Zarour, a nod to the World Cup with a football activation, swag giveaways, Glambot photo booth, flower crowns, glitter facepainting, and a host of spontaneous live performances by YouTuber guests themselves.

To wrap up the series, we filmed top creators such as Ahmad Aburob and Noor Stars discussing a variety of topics and edited them into punchy YouTube Shorts to be hosted on YouTube’s Arabic channel

The series offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the creators’ lives and we shot on-location in their homes in UAE, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey.
