Junior Events Producer

About the Job
We are excited to expand and seek a junior creative event producer with agency experience. This individual would conceptualise, and design event activations and either manage the project end-to-end or support the lead event producer with creative aspects of the proposal and production.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate is brimming with creative ideas for engaging event activations. They should be able to create interesting and unique concepts aligned with the client’s brief and have a good knowledge of materials, production lead times and costs.
They will have experience in briefing 3D designers and graphic designers and collaborating with the internal production team, client, and suppliers to develop concepts from inception to final production. In addition to supporting the agency with creative concepts across all client proposals, this role will often involve producing projects entirely. Therefore, the candidate should have experience managing clients and suppliers and meeting all deadlines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop creative ideas and concepts for events within client budgets and timelines.

Create detailed event proposal decks, including mood boards, renders, and other relevant details.

Manage project budgets to ensure financial profitability whilst bringing value to clients.

Work across the agency as an in-house creative, supporting larger projects and leading smaller projects as required.
Job Responsibilities:

Take initial briefs from the client, identify their requirements and design activations that suit their budget and timeline. This could include physical installations, gifting ideas, interactive activations, and more.

Develop creative elements by working with a 3D designer, graphic designer, and creative event producer to visualise concepts for client proposals.

Pitching creative ideas to clients

Source and negotiate with suppliers and obtain accurate quotations for production elements

Basic graphic design knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to design and edit artwork if needed

Come up with inventive, beautiful, and cost-effective set dressing solutions – should have knowledge of floristry

Create mock-ups of activations in Canva.

Support agency team across any creative project elements, which may include sourcing gift options for clients, minor graphic design work, proposal decks and mood boards, and ideas for event activations and activities

In-person meetings with suppliers to quality check materials and fabrication ahead of install

Ensure the creative vision is adhered to on-site – managing production teams, florists, set dressers, and crew. This may involve overseeing production any time, including overnight builds if necessary.

Understand AV and production to brief, onboard and manage an AV/production company and understand their set lists and quotes.

Implement the original creative vision for the event by researching and contracting venues, audio visual, catering, talent and production staff according to the client's requirements.

An understanding of venue and supplier contracts and experience in negotiating legal points and costs

Thorough admin trails for events, timelines, scope of work documents, budgets and payment plans
Qualifications:

Agency experience

Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage suppliers

Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition

Thrive in a fast-paced, agency environment

Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, and social media sites

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator)

Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint and Google Slides
Requirements:

Available to work weekends, evenings and overnights as needed for events.

Available to travel for work – this will likely be to the UAE, MENA or the UK, but it could be anywhere in the world.

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Location:
Our main office is in Dubai, but we have clients all over the world, and travel may be required for the chosen candidate. This role would be based in Dubai.
The role is a hybrid one – we require you to be in the office three fixed days a week with the flexibility to work from home for two.
